Regarding Requirements for Unlocking the new Classes Heavensward

Some Jobs are already going to be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for new cross-class skills come 60 (two extra slots and my only current options for White Mage are Ruin and Physick...).

Well you are in luck because I'm pretty sure we aren't getting any extra cross class skill slots at 60.

We should be getting at least one, since the system worked off your level; Every 10 levels Jobs would unlock a new slot (every 5 levels for Classes). No real reason that should change for 60.

It was in one of the live letter translations and honestly I don't remember which one. I'll check on Bluegartr forums when I get a chance and see if I can find a link.

...You mean Lancer/Pugilist is Bard. Bard does not need to cross-class Archer skills.
