Regarding Requirements for Unlocking the new Classes Heavensward

So i can't find this information anywhere on the website or forums but what are the requirements for unlocking these classes. Do you have to at least have one character on level 30 or what

First you will need to finish the main story which will also require you having a level 50 job. You cannot enter Ishgard until then and Ishgard is where the new jobs are started.

check lodestone and in the forums check the live letters. SE has put out quite a bit of info so those are some places to look.

In order to visit Ishgard, you’ll first have to complete the main scenario quest “Before the Dawn,” which will be implemented in Patch 2.55 at the end of this month. For those of you thinking about returning at the start of Heavensward, we recommend coming back a bit earlier to finish off the main scenario quests. With the main scenario completed, you can install Heavensward and immediately accept the first quest of the expansion that will lead you to Ishgard.

Furthermore, those of you who have pre-ordered the all-in-one pack, FFXIV: Online, will receive the pre-order in-game bonuses but it will not come with Early Access. If you'd like to participate in Early Access, please purchase A Realm Reborn, finish the main scenario, and then pre-order Heavensward.
