    Item Suggestions for Scrips

Hey there! So as you may or may not know, DoH/DoL classes are getting their own brand of tomestone-like currency known as "Scrips". I would like to see the following items become available through Scrips:

-2-star "Philosophy" Mat items (Coke, Hardened Sap, Potash, etc.) (x9 per turn-in)
-3-star "Mythology" Mat items (Scheelite, Tawny Latex, etc.)
-4-star "Soldiery" Mat items (Wootz Ore, Arachne Web, etc.) (x9 per turn-in where applicable)
    -Moonstones
-Lucis Tool Materials (Composite Whetstone, Clear Fluorite, etc.) (x3 per turn-in)
    -Fieldcraft Demimateria I/II/III
    -Battlecraft Demimateria I/II/III
    -Mastercraft Demimateria

NOTE: The purpose of wanting Demimateria there is because of how expensive demimateria is, especially Grade III. Master Recipe II books are gated behind a minimum of 6 Fieldcraft IIIs, crafted primal weapons never ever sell for less than a million because it takes 10 Battlecraft IIIs per weapon to craft, and unless new crafting/gathering gear gets a significant boost over Artisan's/Forager's gear while leveling from 50-60, that gear is gonna end up being absolutely critical while leveling.

I wouldn't mind something like this either.

While we're at it, can we add Ehcatl sealants to that list? It's a real annoyance that we're so heavily restricted on how many we can earn (basically 1 per day per person, max) when each individual recipe might need up to 6 or more of the darned things.

I also want to see some good gear at least equal to fully melded AF gear. Getting my skills up to 3-star crafting and beyond was an absolute nightmare of broken materia and wasted gil. I'd sooner spare newcomers the nuisance and level the playing field a bit more, if only to help reduce the price hiking being done currently.

The Allagan crafting materials from desynthing coil gear x_x.

Including demimateria would be a great idea, as long as they're not too cheap to get. a surefire way to get them would stabilize the market without crashing the price, while giving people not rolling in gil the opportunity to farm their own to use or sell.

On the other hand, the 'outdated' mats, and especially the former philosophy items should be absolutely dirt-cheap, because it's pretty silly that a base mat for an i70 item can cost more than one for an i90 item.

It is possible that they may add all the old craft/gather items to the "unlmited scrips" currency as a means to make it easier for newcomers to level their craft/gathering/getting the main tools and such.

I do have a feeling that the Lucis will remain as a focal "relic" like tool that might continue on an upgrade path in 3.0 so newcomers who want the best tool may have to get the Lucis first so they can continue on. Since they did say they wanted a way to ease the accessibility of new DOL/DOH from building up having them earn unlimited scrips to get it rather than doing everything else to get it does sound like a happy median.

If what SE has said about DoH BiS gear in 3.0 is to be believed, then we're going to have a similar setup to what we have now, where there's one set that has no melding available, but is still fairly decent, and a secondary set that has melding available and fully melded will be BiS.

So it's very much a "pick your poison" type of system, assuming it happens. Stick with the stability of a gearset that doesn't have to be melded by sacrificing a few key stats, or go with the gearset that will probably cost hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of gil to meld to get the best possible stats.
