Appealing to MLP fans? *shrugs* I don't know, your guess is as good as mine (I would love to see some more original mounts more in keeping with FF lore than just another horse reskin). Having said that, Sleipnir, Unicorn and Kirin are actually FF canon so it does kind of make sense to have them here. But the Frontlines warhorse and the Nightmare and Primal horses are there just... because.

There's a number of players who just like collecting things. Their rarity (and now at least, the fact they let you listen to primal themes while mounted) is a value to people; that's all.

dev wise i think they needed something permanent that could get people to que ex's but needed something simple.

so we got pony's with skin changes and a brand new one for catching them all............. POKEMON (had to do it)

player wise collectors i know if i wasn't so lazy i would get more than garuda's myself XD
