Yep iv done everything when i said not in ARR i mean it was not always until 2.0 then it stuck around. And it was funny in hildi but after it became a bit random. The hildibrand quest started it in ARR but it was made out to be a joke as it also started the frogging but after that they made shrinking a big part of the game ST when you get shrunk you feel like a jack ass for missing and in WOD you have no other way to kill the boss

Mini and such have existed in like...every FF except maybe 10, 12, and 13 -- and they might have existed in these too, I just never encountered them lol.

And it is not just Yoshi who has a thing for shrink spells; it is just about every MMORPG out there because it makes for a somewhat-debilitating fight mechanic. If it weren't for guides and stuff, most peeps suddenly shrinking would freak out for the first ~10s XD
