    RMT Friend Request Solution

    Just make it so free trial accounts can't send friend requests, or have players making new characters win a game of Triple Triad, or some ARR related mini game to confirm they're not a bot. Honestly, it's a small price to pay to keep the game clean from bots.

    I don't think they can now. At least that's what I've heard. (But if I'm wrong and those can be sent from free trial accounts, then yes, I'd agree they shouldn't be able to.)

    Now that's an interesting idea. But I'm not sure how much it would take to script a bot to win at triple triad. I'm sure given a little time the RMT companies would manage it. (Chocobo racing is already bot-able, but that's largely because it doesn't require actually winning.)

    Personally I think it would be easier to implement a level restriction to the trial (say 10 for example) and implement a add friend level restriction of 11 just so RMTs cannot abuse the free account structure.

    They should make it impossible for characters under, let's say, Lv.10, to send friend requests and maybe tells.
