couple of questions, returning player

Hey, just came back and bought the expansion to give it a try

1. If I leave a company, what happens to my private chamber and all the items I got in it?
2. I got the early access code for heavensward, is there a specific time for when the code for the full game will be sent?

Could also use some gear/quest advice, right now I'm sitting at ilvl 96 bard, and the expansion release soon. I'm at the keeper of the lake quest, do I need to complete that for expansion? And is there any point in grinding gear right now, or will the expansion gear replace it anyway?

You mean, if you leave your free company correct?

If you leave your free company, you will lose your private chamber in the fc house. Most of your furniture items can be reclaimed from the housing npc, but I think some bound items may be lost.

You should have received the early access code and the heavensward code when you bought the game. If you haven't, I would take a look at the site where you purchased it or your email. I know amazon stores it, as does the official FFXIV site.

In regards to the second question, the early access code will allow you to play Heavensward up until the 27th. After that you must have the actual Heavensward game code registered that you will recieve on the 23rd to keep playing.

This is for PC at least, I believe on PS4 digital the process is automated and you will only need to enter the early access code.

1. To my knowledge you have to demolish your private chamber first or it won't let you leave your FC. If this isn't the case and you can leave your FC without demolishing your private chambers, then all your furniture should be with the caretaker/enthusiast (don't remember) within the housing zone.
2. You can find the instructions for using your early access code for your platform and method of order here. If you ordered a digital copy of the game my guess would be that you would receive a code for the full game on launch day. However if you're talking about downloading Heavensward then you should be able to download Heavensward sometime on the 18th (my guess considering that's maintenance day) as long as you've got your account registered for early-access.

You will have to complete the Main Scenario Quests up to and through 2.55 (the last quest is "Before the Dawn") to access Ishgard and therefore pretty much all the new content. ilvl 90 is the highest ilvl required to complete the Main Scenario so you're set there . You are currently at/just did Keeper of the Lake so you should have 2 more trials to do within the Main Scenario, the rest is just quests. At this point, don't bother grinding for new gear it will get replaced in the expansion and unless you have a burning desire to finish the relic weapon/want it for glamour, I don't think you should bother with it.
