The other problem with this idea is that the recruitment rewards are exclusive to those capable of recruiting new players. Those who, for various reasons, can't won't be able to obtain such rewards. It's also not like those rewards from attending events, items that are solely for vanity and little else. These have a function that is only partially found on other readily available rewards of similar function (most experience boosting headgear stop working at level 10 versus the circlet at level 20). To ask for an exclusive piece of equipment to be made more exclusive solely to 'alleviate' the hassle of leveling is so very selfish as to be egotistical.
