Took me 60 try's to get the healer top when we still had the loot lock lol that's just the name of the game![]()
I've given up on getting gears by RNG! <-<
I rather spend millions of my earned Gil than wasting time+nervs on dungeons without getting anything!
Just wanted to say, yeah it could happen at random. As for the next one we're talking major earthquake in between.
When life gives you lemons, cry yourself to sleep, and tell all your friends.
hopefully this RNG mess gets fixed with expansion. they said new loot systems are coming. it can only get better at this point.
R N G = Raging Nerd Generator
pretty much accurate.
There's always tome gears for the people who don't like the rng.
I myself really don't like the tome gear, I think it's stupid that you do an easy easy dungeon once a day to get the "best" gear in the game.
So I'd rather grind raids or dungeons to get gear drops. It feels so much better finally getting that chest piece Ive been going for the last 2 weeks, than "okay enough tokens to buy another meaningless stat upgrade"

I grinded WoD a whole Saturdary for the Pieces im Wearing on a WAR. The bad RNG is another Point why RMT is so overpresented in XIV. The Players get tired of grinding, want to buy the crafted one. Crafted Gear is horrible overpriced because of bad crafting mechanics. In the end some give up and buy gil to afford that gear so they can hold up with their static.
I wished that if one alliance let a gear piece drop the other two would be allowed to roll on it.
I sadly doubt that would ever happen.
