WoD, starts out slow, some people drop, get replaced.

We end up 1 bard. 4 casters and whatever.

3/4 bard drops. Zero caster drop.

Do you know how long it took me to get 3 upgrades in WoD? One run for this bard.

This whole game, it's not real. Effort and dedication to gear up, that is very much real.

Nothing can make this right.

I eventually just gave up and geared my BLM in augmented ironworks instead, especially since it's easy enough to get the twines these days. I still don't have a full demon set. Seen enough brd drops to last me forever though

When I was gearing up my bard, during the loot lockout too, it took me maybe twenty, thirty tries for the pants alone? Something like that. The chest wasn't too bad for me, but the shoes....gosh.

And don't get me started on the healer chest. That's just how it works, so deal with it. The developers have already stated they've changed the way the loot works in raids for HW though.

I have all of the WoD sets and it took me a hell of a lot of grinding to get them all. orz They all look so pretty, it was too hard to resist getting them for glamour sake (when they're no longer the highest ilevel I have for my other classes, anyway). D:

The one day I did not go on my BRD and was at that breaking point - let me go on mnk. I said. RNGesus dropped BRD body.
I cried a bit but for my FC's member last pony drop for ramu. It took 3 solid days.
Ramu would not drop a single pony, for him. LOL

The WoD drops whatever is least needed based on the party. That is my theory anyhow. I always get NIN drops when we're full of casters, bards, or dragoons. I always get Dragoon drops when there's a ninja in there but no dragoon. And bard ONLY drops if we're all casters. Tank drops are the rarest from the runs I've done, and until recently, my first run was the only one I saw any DPS caster drops. So again, my guess is that it's secretly the RNG spiting whoever is in the party by dropping what they least need. It knows you're going to keep running it. It KNOWS......

Ran 1 full week of WOD for BLM loot and all it dropped is for MNK. Gave up. Queued as MNK and BLM loot magically appears. I love this game.
