So how many jobs do you play regularly?

Just curious how many jobs do you play regularly? Is it just you’re main job or many others? Currently I play as the DRG & NIN- leveling up MNK atm. It’s a lot of work to play more than one job simultaneously versus just one main. With the lv. 50-60 taking as much time as 1-50 leveling, I’m considering having one main and level the rest later. So how do you guys play?

I have 4 lvl 50 jobs, and try to play 3 of them.

PLD main and is for progression / great for cue times.
DRG (was main) now for when I'm feeling lazy and just wanna stab stuff.
BLM is a newer 50 and keeps me actively doing things like Towers.

WAR has taken a back seat to PLD so I don't really play it often... and once DRK arrives I imagine it will replace Paladin. We'll see!

It's only gonna take that long going through all of the story quest stuff, I'd guess. Just leveling another job 50-60 through fates and dungeons afterward shouldn't be that bad. Otherwise, I don't think I'll be getting all of my jobs from 50-60.

As for me, I don't really have a main job. I go through phases where I really like doing a certain job and play it a lot, but that job changes pretty frequently. It's unfortunate that this game punishes you so much for having alts or wanting to play multiple jobs, though. Sometimes I can't get myself to play one of my lesser geared dps because I feel bad for holding a group back when I have two damage dealers with zeta. Regardless, on this character I spend most time on ninja, black mage or scholar, and my alt is mostly dragoon and white mage. Those are probably going to change with 3.0 and new jobs, though!

Ranged DPSes (BRD>BLM>SMN)
then Healers (WHM>SCH)
then Melee DPS (NIN > DRG> MNK)

When 3.0 release I'll main SMN, but will use SCH to queue/level faster

I'll then level up the remain DPS while AST/DRK are still a new thing

It seems most people have jobs from all three roles. IMO none of the healer jobs feel masculine enough for my main character.

Well, I play Paladin, Scholar, Dragoon and Black Mage. I'll soon add the Dark Knight job to that list.

Glad someone loves SMN and maining it.

So for my female alt i am leveling an alt but won't level it to 60 til they get their promised summer glamour system.
After reviewing SMN changes I lvoe how they have three modes to do damage- summon, aether flow/doTs, Trance powers- SMN definitely seems like its alot of tactical planning which fits its lore perfectly being a key strategist class. I think one they get their pet glamours- SMNs will be one of the best jobs- hands down.

I main WHM, Secondary BRD and have been playing MNK a lot, lately... I'd say 3. Everything else I have little interest in :/ War has become fun, but I'd rather not take it into anything complicated. I don't have a leader's mentality. DRG is okay.... but I like MNK better.
