    New to PVP - What does Morale do?

    I heard it used to increase damage dealt and decrease damage received, but was changed to increase item lvl.

    How does increasing item lvl translate to performance in pvp?

    That is, I'm not sure how increasing item lvl increases one's effectiveness in pvp?

    I wish they would explain it better in the game, or at least have a decent pvp guide/primer here at lodestone...

    So anyone?

    Detailed explanation on how Morale and ilevelsync work for PvP here. Also contains i80 BiS PvP sets.

    Short of it is that Morale boosts the item's stats by the difference between the max stat cap of the base ilevel and the new Morale boosted ilevel.
