I hated that. It still happens (mob runs away -> summons 2-3 more mobs), but it ain't as bad.
Remember when you couldn't complete "The Wights' Stuff" @ Horizon?
Remember when you couldn't complete a behest alone because that last mob group was quite overpowered?
Remember when certain monsters would run away and then regen halve their health before you had a chance to attack attack them again?
Oh, god. I had forgotten all about this. Now I have a sour taste in my mouth. Thanks.
Remember when Tanaka was the producer for FFXIV...?
There are new players and returning players who would beg to differ. If they added something like dynamis so everyone rich or poor can participate, but only the rich who sponsor the events can get the l33t loot (nothing too fancy, but good enough for bragging rights) that would help fix the problem.
No kidding. I just did a level 10 leve in Emerald Moss where the remaining mole and the 3 newly popped moles all aggroed, and I trained them all the way back to the Aetherite, and I died there they just stayed there .
This was never fixed. It's just that higher-level leves don't have that nonsense so most people no longer notice it.
Do you remember when we'd all sit around the campfire, sacrificing all the lalafell, talking about how one day we'd be look back on them days in a "Do you remember..." thread?
No?

Oh, wait...
Do you remember the level 50 - 60 Sandskin peiste that would spawn right outside the gate of Nald and eat noobs?
Do you remember when Aetheryte gates like Sorel Haven had no mobs?
Do you remember when level 10 crafters had to turn in leves at camps like Bald Knoll and Crimson Bark?
Do you remember running somewhere youve already been takes your whole playing session?
MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
Do you remember playing the Beta and thinking what was there was so limited just because it was a Beta?
