Remember you only got to test the game for 4 hours? 3 to get yourself situated.
Remember when Fleet of Foot didn't work?
Remember we were not outside of La Noscea? (Alpha/Early Beta)
Remember when high level mobs were were put in inconvenient spots? (Passageway between lv.1 and lv.10 Thanalan zone with ants.)
Remember in alpha and beta, you had no idea that sheep in the lv.1 critter area could one shot you if you hit it?
Remember you had to wait at least 5 seconds before you could switch between Active/Passive mode?
Remember when Dodos were the biggest threat to Eorzea?
Remember when guildleves were the main aspect of the game?

I could go on, but this really shows how far they really have gotten in a year, keep up the good work team!
Those ants are still there. But I remember the Pieste that liked to hang right outside the Ul'dah gate. I wish it was still there, kinda.
Now they're only the biggest threat to Jinrya Geki.
I see, never see them on the way anymore, so I just assumed they were gone. By the way, go east from Ul'Dah enough and you will find some nice lv.75+ ones.![]()

Ahaha! Yeah! And you had to transfer stuff to your retainers to combine stackable items.
To agree with other points, the interface was so horrible in the past compared to what it is now.. not sure how I even kept playing. It took forever to do one simple task. Now, In general it takes about half the time and frustration to synthesis, equip gear/actions....well everything. Between lag and GUI there has been a dramatic improvement.
