Kind of, thanks Eekiki.
Kind of, thanks Eekiki.
i'd change the corporate world that is ruining everything ...now including my mmo's.
Outsource development to Blizzard. /thread
...But seriously, I would focus as much time on expanding the current Armoury system's 'sandbox' as is possible. Then I would throw some long-term progression goals into the game while everything is further tweaked/solidified for the next eternity or so.
Get the old team back in place.
I would make garlemald a playable faction.
The battle system:
Recast times for spells are a bit high for my tastes. Hitting f-5 for shields is convinient but its a snooz fest if you can't actively block. Knockback would litteraly knock you on your butt. You gain mob specific killing proficiency affecting how your toon moves while attacking said mob. Last tp move that kills a mob is shown in semi. slow-mo. with additional graphics (skewer literaly skewers the mob with blood and guts all over the place). Action bar is changed to a list that lists all pissible actions. Bring back AoE cures/sacrifice. Increase party limit to 20 (people dont party unless they are gunna kill something, right?) Mobs as well as players get bloody/bruised as the battle progresses. You explode into a million peices if a mob one shots you and they blow up into a million peices if you one shot them. I'm sure i could think of more but it's not like it matters.

Change settings to max, login, hit print screen ^^Hmm... if I could change one thing that would be something realistically possible, I'd make it so that when screenshots are taken the game snaps the picture as if you had your graphics set onto maximum, making your screenshots look uber awesome even if your computer isn't capable of running that graphics itself. Snapshots in max graphics look amazing.![]()
Some really great ideas in here guys. Glad to see we got some participation. Some of the other threads just incase you don't keep up with them all are including:
*Targetting System - They would like the old <bt> brought back
*Crafting System - Feels as if lazy players get an advantage by just sitting back and pressing standard.
*LOL! - Someone would like the ability to change more than one thing!
*LS Management -Being able to manage a LS due to fill ups and dormant characters leads to having to rebuild.
*Party Searching / Party Flag - Would like to see the system become more user friendly
*Zone Enhancement - Player feels like the zones are nothing but copy & paste.
*Mailing System - Player would like to see one instituted for storage and other preferences.
*Class Additions - Would like to see the missing classes filled in.
*Item Damage - Player would like to see the loss of XP brought back rather than having to return to town or repair their items
*Patching - Player would like to see the P2P system disappear and a more stable and faster system implemented.
*Addition of Races - Player would like to see Races such as Viera, Humanoid Toad, and/or Humanoid Turtle.
*Addition of Classes - Player would like to see return of FFXI type classes ex: RDM for the hat!
These are just some of the ideas coming from other boards and I tell ya what, they are really genuine good ideas! The best thing about this being done is that your opinion is voiced. Even though sometimes you may not think that anyone is listening because you are just another number but always keep faith! At least we the players can respect others ideas and bounce them around! Who knows, one of them may even get picked to be implemented. Let's try and keep this going! Great job everyone!
