Hello!
I represent a Coil/Savage Coil raid group that exists since August 2014.
I'm currently looking for players who're interested in savage turns, raiding in Heavensward and having like-minded people around.
We're seeking following roles:
- WAR/PLD with main focus on warrior
We expect understanding of how to optimize the fight for higher dps. Playing a dps or a healer at a decent level is a plus.
- WHM/SCH
Regardless of your chosen raid class, please be familiar with tank classes. Your job in progression would be working together with tanks on breaking down the fight to achieve the balance of safety and maximum dps output for the party.
A secondary spec is a plus but not required.
- BRD
You're expected to be good at dealing damage and have enough combat awareness to handle mechanics and make decisions on buff usage. Since bards are often chosen to perform certain mechanics, your ideas on how to optimize the execution will always be welcome and appreciated.
A secondary spec is a plus but not required.
I will update the post when we find what we need per-role.
Our tryout routine is to see you playing in a fight where you're not supposed to be affected (too much) by rng or other players' actions.
Say, playing with T9 clear group or t13 farm group would be a fine choice.
A few words about us and what we expect of new members.
For long time my static has been an independent LS-based raid group that became a part of Elusive FC after we started progression on Savage Coil.
We're focused on progression raiding and - what we have in common - we're community minded in the sense that we want the FC/group environment to be open and cooperative (and to a possible degree we extend that attitude to people we interact with in PF/DF), as in raids, teamplay matters for us as much as individual playing skills.
We are quite a diverse group of people who enjoy playing together in the first place (some of us have been raiding together since 2.0), and who take our performance seriously - individually and as a raid group.
We will ask permanent members to join our FC. You can look up the last version of rules and requirements here:

Our typical schedule in progression is 3-4 nights per week for 3-4 hours.
Hours were 8 PM - 11.30 PM GMT+0 on working days, earlier on weekends. It's a subject for discussions, we haven't set any schedule for HW yet.
Active players will be preferred over raid loggers because downtime hours might be used for strat discussions, doing non-raid content together, working on playing technique etc.
We use TS3 for raids, so please be able to talk on voice.
It's very desirable that you can make calls and understand them in combat.
Outside of raids we need your thoughts and the possibility to express them.
You don't have to be perfect at English, and most of our group are not native speakers, but please be at a comfortable level.
Mentioned above but I'll say it again, supportive attitude towards other players makes things much easier on everyone during progression.
We're still a gaming team in the first place, and being able to give and receive criticism is necessary. If you're vocal and can quickly point out what you see as a problem, in order to work on it, it's valuable for the group.
If you don't parse, because you choose not to or don't have access to parser software, we will provide you any data for the sake of performance monitoring or your curiousity.
We will supply you with consumables (food and pots) if you need any. Crafters will do this on demand or, if you don't say anything, when they're in the mood.
Group loot rules are a priority system going as such: main raid jobs > designated backup raid jobs > non-raid mains > everything else as agreed between those who play the said class. Players who play jobs that share raid gear are expected to agree on trading drops.
If you're interested to join us, please contact me in-game (pm Dien Leery)
