I don't remember their exact wording, but am I the only one thinking that 'not all the options are implemented' just refers to the Lightning/Gold Saucer hair cuts and the bats face paint?
(and I hate to be that guy, but it's a thought that had crossed my mind)

Except those aren't in the character creation; they're only in the aesthetician menu =) If you use a phantasia potion, you won't be able to pick the Lightning/GS hair or bats face paint until you visit the aesthetician again.
I'm glad you got my line of thinking. Now, considering there's also a language barrier there too, is it not possible that when they said that all customization options were not available/implemented, they were in fact referring to theses? I'm just allowing for the possibility that this may be the case.![]()
See I think you're letting SE off the hook too easily. No way everyone I'm the dev team will be working on bug fixes and stability. They hyped up the customization of the au ra so much, and a good bit of folks don't seem satisfied with it and find it lacking.
Plus what's going to occur when 4.0 rolls around and there's still this "Don't worry about it, just move on" "Who actually cares? There's more important things" kind of rhetoric? As the consumers we should let SE know that we're not a fan of something no matter how minor others may say it is.
This is a big thing I considered when I thought of switching from Midlander over to Au Ra. I'm going to miss those toned thighs, but dem eyes on Au Ra...

Messing with the CC in the Benchmark to try and get a better picture if they did have the tone slider... I just realized how thin the male Au Ra's waist was compared to the rest of his upper body. Like, all up top he's got that bulk, that beef and then just this sharp dive into this whole other level of build. They got this whole Joe Swanson thing going, lol.
I really want SE to implement a muscle tone slider for the Au Ra. I remember how they said that the Au Ra will be a muscular race. Playing with the benchmark I got disappointed when I saw the male's body. SE really needs to improve some things in the CC. They can make them seem more muscular without making them huge. The muscle define slider could improve the visuals without breaking the whole thing. SE please do something.
It's not that I'm letting them off the hook too easily but people don't understand that SE has stress that they want all platforms to be the same across the board. This means PS3 having the same in-game items/models/everything. The PS3 is working with a 256 MB cache/ram. There is a limit on what is loaded in that cache which doesn't include the XMB and other PS3 functions. This is why I say 4.0 will be the best time to really push these things. 4.0 is when the PS3 will be dropped and the Dev team will have more to work with. Why do you think a lot of features are point and click or very simplified?See I think you're letting SE off the hook too easily.
