Unable to Redeem Pre-Order Code?

I realized when i bought Heavensward on Steam that i never actually registered my ARR Steam version on the Mog Station either, where do i go to register that? i can only find the prepurchase link, and the HW pre purchase code isnt working, probably since i dont have ARR from Steam registered yet...any help would be appreciated.

do you run your current game on a steam app or just a launcher separate from the steam system ?
