Characters that age

I say that after playing FFXI for 6 years, I do not want a wrinkly old man running around.

Same goes for if I play FFXIV for many years.

If aging was optional, sure. Some might do it.

Perhaps there could be potions to reverse the signs of aging? This way people could get to a specific age or look they like and maintain it.
