Suggestion to Main Scenario

I was thinking if Square would make the MSQ playerable with friends who are following each other. My friends and i are getting annoyed every time we have the abandon the group just because of this message "This quest battle must be undertaken alone and as a Disciple of War or Magic"

It would be awesome if SE made Quest battles group friendly so to speak or is it just me that feel this way?

Not just you. My wife and I had to do that all the time. Not sure how likely it is that they'll ever actually DO this, of course, given that the MSQ seems to always be about your character saving the world solo almost all the time. But it'd still be nice.

I'm going to point out the obvious that the fights were balanced with one player in mind. They'd have to rebalance a lot of fights, or give up on balancing 2.0 quest difficulty.

With that given, my wife and I were in the same boat. We duo'd all of the main quest together and being forced to constantly disband was frustrating.

I've been in other MMOs that automatically scaled the difficulty of instanced areas (like MSQ instances here) depending on how big your party was and/or what the average level of the party as a whole was. It's doable--not necessarily EASY, of course, especially with everything else they're putting out now, but it IS doable.

I wouldn't mind if they would just let us do the solo battles without having to disband, unless it's your chocobo.
