Question about changing classes.....

Hey everyone!

So I'm a level 25 archer (still new to the game) and I just went to try a new class (conjurer) but now that I am playing as a conjurer I don't see any quests for me to do except the first one from the guild master.

What happen to all of the quests? Am I am doing something wrong?

Main storyline and regular sidequests (the guys with the "!" balloons) are one-time deals. They don't regenerate or change just because you've changed classes: you do them once. If you cleaned them all out your first time through, they'll still be gone. I would suggest levequests, which are infinitely repeatable subject to the three allowances every twelve hours with an accumulated ceiling of 100 allowances, doing FATEs, running guildhests and perhaps running dungeons (although you'll have to get to 10 to do guildhests--which are a good way to learn how to use your class in a party, BTW--and 15 before you'll be let into any dungeon).

Make sure to do your class hunting log as well, these are excellent for early leveling.

It's also worth noting that you gain 50% extra xp from levequests, fates, and kills up until your highest level of all your classes. So if your archer is 25, then your conjurer will gain +50% xp from those sources until level 25. This was done because those main/side quests are 1 time deals.

If you haven't done so already I'd suggest getting your challenge log unlocked too. The quest for that is in the bar in limsa lominsa from a waitress. There are nice xp bonuses for just doing the things suggested.
