[Static][Recruitment] Weekend static LF friendly melee DPS for 3.x and beyond

Howdy!

I'm A'kira Chance, the pirate cat. My merry crew is looking for a MNK or NIN to join us. We have a wicked sense of humor that we use mercilessly in and out of raid. Having fun is as important as progression for us. We have A1S cleared and we are working our way up the food chain.

This static only raid on weekends: Saturday and Sunday, from 8 pm to 11 pm GMT+8 (see end of message for timezone conversions).
The static is managed through a linkshell and a LINE messenger group. There are no FC requirements.

Given we only raid 6 hours a week, we can't satisfy hardcore competitive players. This static won't ever make it to server first, or tenth. But we also love progression, and since we only raid a few hours a week we can neither cater to very casual players nor to people who show up late for raids. So please know your class, be geared and learn new mechanics at a decent speed.

Raid time is sacred. During that time: static > FC or any other in-game groups/individuals commitments. Please make yourself available for raids (i.e. online and not in instance nor afk) at least 5 minutes before raid time. Exceptionally, if you have real-life commitments during raid time we would appreciate to be notified in advance. Since we don't have many raid hours a week, we don't want to spend time looking for replacements. Your understanding is most appreciated.

You are passionate about your class. You enjoy playing a melee (MNK or NIN, or both). You can handle end-game mechanics while DPSing and we don't have to carry your DPS.

The goal of this static is to tackle all end-game content and having fun together while doing so. A laid back, patient and positive attitude goes a long way toward meshing with the other members of the team. You can give and receive feedback without drama. You can understand and make jokes in English even if it's not your native language. You have to enjoy raiding with us as much as we enjoy raiding with you. This static should make the game more fun for all of us, not turn it into a chore or a headache.

We are looking for a long-term association: 3.x, 4.x and beyond. We are hard at work on Alexander Savage.

Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Voice com (discord) with a working unmuted microphone - this is not optional.
- Punctual and dedicated to the static for raids.
- Communicate about unavailability.
- Good personality that fits with the team.
- Not hardcore but not full casual either.
- Passionate about your class.
- Skilled as melee (MNK and/or NIN).
- Alexander Savage Floor 1 cleared as melee.
- Properly geared: i190 with Esoteric weapon.
- Stable and decent Internet connection.
- “Never go full retard.”

looks like your group is so much fun. i'm currently gearing up my i180 Monk (switching main from WHM) and havent got any savage experience, so i guess i'm not fit to your requirements. good luck!
