NPC dungeoning GC Team Naming.

So just for fun what will you be naming the rumored NPC GC party we may get in a future update if we are allowed to name our little band of NPCs?

If you ask the NPC GC party is basically a NPC party made to help players level in old outdate dungeons.

Though there are mentions that it may require a certain GC Rank due to these NPCs being tied into your Grand Company.

For me I'll just name my team...

"The Adventurers"

because it is generic enough as it is.

(PS I hope we could at least customize our NPCs in some way.)

The Popoto Squad, if I can make them all lalas.

I think the NPC's should be minor story characters (let us get to know some named GC officers or soldiers!) or Crystal Braves members.

Would make the experience much more immersive than "HeMan StarLord" & "Yolo Swaggins."

Even if I love those names...

I'd prefer not to be able to design/name grown adult fighters.

And While I can agree with you on that, I both A don't want my team of "specialist" picked for me, and B can grow far more attached to them if their more head cannon than real cannon. I'd be fine with either, but slightly leaning to pick our own.

And... Something involving Gerudo probably. Or harem just to agitate my fiancé XD

@Rhaja. I definitely think we should be able to pick from a roster of worthy candidates to compliment my thoughts.

I would hate too if they were wholly preselected with no choice or options of soldiers to choose from!

Also, Entourage Name would suffice for me.

Considering this NPC group we are meant to command is, rumored, to be tied into our GC, I think they may go more towards random generated NPCs with some options like in 1.0 NPC companion or give us full customization choice like Retainers consideing each GC is a large military organization.

I would enjoy the 1.0 companion style of generating the GC NPC members since it would fit more into the group being a GC squad consist of GC members and with how large each GC is it would fit more into showing how big each GC are rather than limiting us into chooing only already existing characters which are only a small amount of the larger GC members.

Having to choose over already existing members that is already out in the world may cause some issue with player choose only characters they already like without giving the other characters a chance.

Live letter notice a while back when they were discussing the change for Old Dungeons in 3.0 and 3.X era.

The NPC group system is meant to help new players progress through old content dungeons while helping Veteran Players return to old Dungeons for collecting stuff and leveling class/jobs without needing to find other players.

They have yet to explain how this system may affect the new "No Level Sync" system for Old Dungeons yet since the NPC Group system is still a work in progress.

Though SE did mention that the NPCs may only be leveled through using them in dungeons so dungeon grinding with them may be required if players want to level them.
