I'm sorry to hear that, sadly we sometimes need to adapt ourselves to our environment. If you're doing that is pissing people off, you better stop that. I know it's annoying, and it breaks your inmersion, but you know, it's DF for a reason. You never know what kind of people you'll find there and if they're going to like the way you act/perform.

It was for the dragpnfire Drive move- which has a very long cool down. I can see if i was spamming....not anything like that. I actually love when people use rp macros shows the love and invest they have for the game and their character. I just don't get why people feel they have to be bullies/jerks in a game. I use games/mmos as outlet to unwind/relax- not bully.

I think its extremely annoying when people tie macros to things that aren't important. I know you want to RP your character, but I don't RP and I don't want my chat box flooded with it. I need to look out for important things, healer and tank macros, party chat etc.

Pretty much this. I'm not sure, but I think if you set it to echo, only you get the message. Or does everyone need to see it? Or since you are into RP, let me put it this way, what if your RP conflicts with theirs and breaks their emersion. Remember you are also running with 3,7, or 23 other people. If you want to pull the "others should think about how I like to play card", you should also be considering how they like to play.

I wouldn't ever kick someone over it, I think that's taking it too far, but those types of macros drive me nuts too.

I don't get annoyed by any macro really at least is spamable and it rings every single time ( i am guessing I have been in parties were their macros would ring often. I guess is cuz i am summoner. All my skills ring lol). Sadly your freedom ends when the other person don't feel comfortable and vice versa. Sorry to hear you got kick out cuz of that.

I'm sorry to tell you this but, while there's nothing wrong with using macros like that, if someone asks you to stop and you don't, then the fault lays with you. You may not have been asked nicely but you were asked.
