.... is awesome!
When you get rid of the accounts can you switch the characters to deleted, though, so I know who I can take off my blacklist? :P

I second this motion! it would be nice to actually know which names are safe to delete off the blacklist without having to worry about it

It's possible they don't do that because of the rare chance a person could use the same name. They most likely want to avoid that so it's possible that when a player is banned so is their name on that server.
This is so needed!
scenario a) the character no longer exists... so doesnt require the blacklist slot
scenario b (for those with normal names): a new user registers with the name and wonders why everyone so rude and ignoring them![]()
.
i have to clear about 100 slots / week from my blist to get ready forthe next week ... two additions they can make would be nice player quality adjustments.
1) make a check box to allow / or not allow friend requests...
2) make a select all box / or optional select box option for blist to just check off everyone you want to clear for the week to get ready for the next weeks onslaught.
...does not much at all. Really, far be it from me to belittle the work behind this, but when they post the weekly n-thousand-accounts-banned thingy, and I log in and get one RMT friend request after another, get spammed with tells and see characters advertise via /say, just like the day before exactly like nothing had happened.... I can't really appreciate it either.
By the way, if you report one, the reply will tell you you can delete them from your blacklist. (Though from what I've heard, sometimes it doesn't quite work.)
So many things have been suggested so many times - everyone knows this isn't a phenomenon that can completely be wiped from the game, but there are numerous ways to help deal with them in-game at least. Private mode, limiting tells, limiting friend requests, name/text filters, one click blacklist-and-report, heck even tweaking Support Desk so it doesn't take at least half a minute to load (WHEN it loads) and adding an actual clear notifications button to avoid the same one blinking up again and again......... the list goes on and on. SE apparently hasn't even deemed it worthy to comment on, for how many months through how many threads? It annoys veterans, I can't begin to imagine how alienating it is for new players. Yet, nothing happens, save for the weekly bans, which can't even be felt, but are serve as evidence that they are doing something.
AND ON A SIDENOTE REMOVE THIS BLOODY CHARACTER LIMIT ALREADY, THIS IS A DAMN FORUM, NOT TWITTER.
can we have a rmt option in the right click that reports then adds them to the blacklist this would be helpful for everyone
Why would SE ban their customers? Some people are paying for game and gil. Win Win Win
nope and nope.
When a character is banned, he remains here, you just can't access it anymore. This prevents people to create new characters with the same name.
Basically, you can remove a name in your BL for gil spamming around 1 hour after BL'ing it because it will either be banned or the gil seller logged off and started a new character. Making the BL option totally useless for gil sellers.
They need to replace this:
