    based on screenshots i have a feeling they give us a base one from completing the MSQ just like the garlean/metal choco we get in 2.0

    Most likely since SE did say that our first airship will be found crashed in the Flying Continent through a Quest and through that quest we will get that Airship rebuilt and usable for our own use.
