    Can't pay for FFXIV using paypal without selecting a debet/credit card now??

    What's up with this? I was always able to just add crysta with my paypal account but now i HAVE to select a debet/credit card which I don't have? I have money on my paypal to buy crysta with. Why do you have to make paying for your game such a huge hassle all the time.

    i have the same problem, in the beginning they even had IDEAL (a dutch method to pay) they took it away, a friend told me about how you can pay with PayPal without having a credit card and now they took that away also

    This issue is affecting me as well.
    If it's not fixed in 25 days, I won't be able to sub, again.
    Last time they missed out on 3 months of my sub money.
    Why's square-enix so dead set on not taking our money

    This is not a Square-Enix issue Paypal has released information that they were hacked and at this time they are trying to find the source of the issue and they will not release fund's to certain company's or vender's due to how large they are.

    Actually, just found out a little thing, go to paypal, log out (if you're logged in) and try to add crysta again.
    It worked for me. As weird as it is.
    (I had to log in to paypal through the checkout screen, and it didn't request credit card details.
    Talk about dodgy payment methods, but it works this way, for some reason)

    This... I have this exact same issue... I can't pay for FFXIV now (buy subscription) at all... I had to lend my friends paypal with his card attached to it to be able to pay for 30 days of sub -_- Square Enix please... do not do this to me.

    ALSO I contacted PayPal some companies NOW REQUIRE a credit or debit card added to theirs account, apparently Square Enix must be one of them, as soon as you get account with added credit card to it you can pay normally from your paypal wallet.

    Square Enix please make something that we can pay with PayPal without having our Credit or Debit Card added to our account, especially those of us that doesn't have any card at all, like me.
