Physical ARR CE to Digital CE purchase question

Ok, just a quick question that I hope someone can answer for me, I don't know if this has been asked before, but here goes:
I originally bought FFXIV:ARR CE (Physical Boxset) and would now like to buy the PS4 Heavensward CE (Digital Download), I have seen that there have been a few problems with this, has this been rectified?
Will I be allowed to buy the Pre-order for PS4 Digital Heavensward CE from PSN on the 19th June (Early Access) or will I be penalised for buying the Physical ARR Boxset?

Is your physical ARR copy a PS4 copy? You never specified.

It was PS3 Physical but upgraded to PS4 on the free upgrade, I believe they have fixed that problem, but I have not read anywhere about a fix for the the Physical to Digital problem

As I dont want to wait until 19th to find out I can't purchase it because of unfixed errors preventing me from buying the Digital CE because I never previously bought ARR in digital format
