Death and Taxes <DnT> recruiting for Heavensward and Beyond!

Death and Taxes is looking for quality recruits of any job on Gilgamesh (US). Perhaps you've heard of us?

    Who We Are

Death and Taxes started back in the beta of World of Warcraft in 2004 and quickly established ourselves as a world-leading gaming community. Maintaining a position at the absolute bleeding edge of progression in World of Warcraft, we soon after branched out to other MMOs including, but not limited to, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Wildstar and, of course, Final Fantasy XIV. We've been at it in Eorzea since beta and we're not slowing down. I could post a laundry list of accomplishments in the aforementioned games but I'll keep it relevant with just a few of our accolades in FFXIV:

Of course, if you're interested in our accomplishments outside of FFXIV, you can always take a look: http://dtguilds.com/about.

Heck, even Yoshi-p knows and recognizes DnT: http://dtguilds.com/home/m/6563291/article/2642505

And for the MMA fans out there, you might know a thing or two about one of the top 5 pound for pound fighters on the planet: http://dtguilds.com/home/m/6563291/article/3333043

    What's In It For You
    • As a member of DnT, you will be part of one of the most successful and storied MMO gaming communities of all time spanning several MMOs and almost 11 years. Tired of short-lived FCs or unfulfilled promises? Perhaps it's time for an FC with a proven history and unrivaled longevity.
    • You'll have access to an unlimited slot Mumble server that houses DnT gamers across all MMOs we take part in. All hours of the day and night there are people online and gaming.
    • You'll get to play alongside of, theorycraft with, talk about the game with, and grow as a player among some of the best FFXIV raiders around.
    • Oh and our FC mansion with the sliding door maze in the basement is pretty sweet

    What We're Looking For

    Hardcore Raiders
You're planning out your rotation and CD usage long before the pulls even begin. You've done all the research you possibly can but, realizing you'll be hitting content on day 1 and going in blind, you are able to adapt and display excellent situational awareness. You always carry plenty of your BiS food and potions and when raid time starts you're repaired and ready to throw yourself at the boss like an 8 year old at front doors on Halloween. When new content drops, long hours and hundreds of wipes are something you look forward to as you know the kill attempt will make it worth every wipe.

    Casual Raiders
You enjoy raiding and definitely want to take on the new raid content but long hours and dozens of wipes in a single night isn't something you're really up for. A couple nights a week, maybe three max, is your ideal raid schedule but during that time you'll play to the best of your ability. You know your job well and come prepared for raid time but a few hours is probably your limit.

    Social Players
Crafting, dungeons, PvP, The Gold Saucer and the like are more your style. It's not that you don't like raiding - it's that your enjoyment in the game is more diversified and you simply want to be part of an amazing community while enjoying FFXIV to its fullest.

    So What Now?

If you're interested in joining us as a raider, be it casual or hardcore, drop an application on our site under "Join DnT" at the top.

If you're interested in joining as a social, simply drop a line to any member of DnT and we'll get you in touch with an officer who can invite you.

Lala Swell - Death and Taxes
You can lead a man to fish in water, but you should never throw two or more birds in a glass house... or something like that
