    Please rework Stat Bonuses to be Secondary Stats Instead

    I think it'd be a lot more interesting for us to be able to tweak secondary statistics... short 5 accuracy, reallocate! Wanna meet that skill-speed soft cap? Reallocate! Wanna try a build with some more piety? We have a reallocation for that!

    I'd say leave piety/vitality as options, however.

    Primary statistics are very flat. This would at least make for more interesting customization.

    As well, I think some sort of trait customization/selection system would be interesting at some point... similar to how PVP let's you trait-select for its abilities. Perhaps for 4.0 or 3.5

    I would really like them to have more info in the character screen. Like tell me how much attack power or damage or w/e that Determination is giving me, or what % chance crit is giving me. Would be awesome.

    This has been calculated to within a very close degree of accuracy by Theorycrafters, should you choose to look into the matter more. You can then extrapolate how much WPN damage each sub stat is giving you.

    It's been found but you have to look for it, what is the problem with having that on the character menu?

    Almost every DPS would be pigeon-holed into dumping all the sub stats into Crit and Det (see the Zodiac Weapon relic arc). This is hardly more fun and interesting. Either you optimize and split them Crit/Det depending on gear, or you go sub-optimal and use your sub stats on speed or piety as a DPS.

    Nothing wrong with having on the character menu, I just feel like the design decisions in some of these cases lean away from giving the player explicit detail about the stat weights and formulae. Why this decision was made, I can't say for sure.

    Cause if they start adding monsters with stats like defense/critical hit evasion/damage type mitigation, then your character screen is going to be incorrect.

    Not really. There are soft-caps & a hard-cap to meet for various stats, depending on the Job. It'd be more interesting than "all into strength or vitality."

    Can you provide a source please detailing the hard caps? The only soft cap I'm aware of is speed skills which can help you squeeze in another GCD attack before a buff goes away etc. I don't believe there are any hard caps to attributes such as Determination and Critical.

    Accuracy technically counts as a hard-cap, however subjectively encounter-based.
