Can you change the effect on the friendship circlet to level 50 or less?

So I did the recruit a friend thing cause I thought the friendship circlet would be useful in the future for levelling new jobs (when I recruited my friend I was already 50 everything).

Now with the announcement that jobs are going to start at 30, the circlet is pretty much redundant to me since it only works up to level 25... So could you please change the effect to be a 20% exp boost up to level 50 so the circlet can stay relevant into future content?

Nah, we'll be fine with it staying the way it is (I have one too) It's mostly to help new players out by helping them catch up a little. There will be plenty of quests, beastman dailies, fates, hunting logs, challenge logs, dungeons, FC buffs, food, etc to help get us our levels fast enough as it is Just imo.

As for relevance, I love the way it looks, so I tend to glamour mine a lot.

Agreed, it is a beginners item and later a lovely vanity item.
Leveling is already very fast.

Yea, it's kinda selfish to think of the circlet as something that should benefit you more because it means you are missing the point of it entirely.

The Circlet is given to both the new player and current player in an instance in which both may have a job at lv 1 they both want to level. Rather than just give the xp perk to the new player and causing a 25% xp gain to accumulate over time they give the circlet to both players so that they can reach 25 at about the same time. While yes the current player may have rested xp and xp boost from having a job at 50 already, the new player has quest which they can use to balance the amount of xp they get compared to the current player.

Pointless item. WoW's system links accounts for 3 months. Level together and get bonus xp. No item and no payment requirements.

Well see, you're saying things like "in the jobs I bothered enough to want to level" and "the only job he wants to do."
You'll soon come to realize the benefit of having everything to 50 (and assumingly in two weeks from now, 60) where the circlet will come in handy. This is more on your friend than you as a single class alone won't get very far in terms of job stones, cross class abilities, and the general idea of how other classes work.

So in your situation, it sounds like the circlet still has some use for you.

Also, without doubt there will come new promotional items with experience bonuses.... Not necessarily right away (though I suspect at least one of the headgears released with preorder/collector's edition has exp bonus perk), but there will be more ^^
