Character Creation Question

Hello there!

Some of my friends are moving from other mmo's to FFARR during last month, what makes me really happy. The hardest one to convince finally agreed to try it out today, and now he can't play with us, because it seems the character creation restriction arrived to Lich on Chaos...althou when I consulte the note "regarding character creation restrictions" I don't see lich beeing restricted, do anyone have an idea how this works? Is it updated every hour or so?

The list is updated every few hours (times are listed in the link you posted), but the actual situation changes more often. The best bet is to make a character is early in the morning.

Have them try making a character off peak play times. Early morning might be a good time.

The servers automatically allow and restrict character creation depending on how many characters are logged into the server. The list can be helpful for figuring out peak server times, but it is never 100% accurate. As others have said, trying at a non peak time has a better chance of being able to create a character. The server transfer process bypasses the lock, but costs money.
