There's your translation right there, just open it in another window and read along while Yoshi and Foxclon are speaking, just like most live letters.
Don't get me wrong. Of course we know that SE will release the Text Patch Notes on the website. But questions / points remain:

1. If it's "JUST" "Reading Patch Notes" (so "no biggie"), then WHY DO IT AT ALL? For ANY language?

Japanese Players AND English Players can just read the patch notes on Lodestone.

2. It's because we hope and expect Yoshi P to DISCUSS some of the various key aspects of the Patch Notes in more detail, or share some interesting anecdote, or MORE information not stated in the plain text.

3. In this day and age of technology, there are COUNTLESS examples of multiple streams / multiple audio channels, where you can still have Yoshi P chatting about the Patch Notes, but you can have Bayohne, Camate and the gang talking separately on ANOTHER Audio Stream in the background about what Yoshi P is talking about. It's not rocket science. Yoshi P doesn't even have to wait for them to translate and continue if they don't want to, so it's not slowing things down.

4. And because this is 3.0 Heavensward Launch, at E3, the biggest Videogames Convention in North America. You'd think they'd have some type of English support for something like this.

5. Lastly, Live Letters are definitely far LESS detailed than full Patch Notes. And what's wrong with asking SE for more communication with ALL their players, regardless of if they speak Japanese or not?

Thanks.
