At E3, Dev Team: NO English Patch Notes Reading? :(

To: FF NA Team,

So on Lodestone, it's been announced Yoshi P will be doing a Heavensward Patch Notes Reading (Live!) at E3 this year (great). Except... it's in Japanese Only.

It's E3, the biggest Videogames Convention in North America, and the big Heavensward Patch Notes unveil and live discussion will have Zero English Language Support?

Please reconsider or at least have some kind of Secondary Stream where Bayohne, Fern and the rest of the great NA Community Team can *talk* about the Patch Notes as Yoshi P is reading it?

Or else it feels like a disservice to all Non-Japanese Speakers.

It is kinda weird that, at an American convention, the only language this reading is available in is Japanese.

I definitely agree that someone like Bayohne or Koji should translate this, especially as this is, again, an American convention. It'd be like an english-exclusive panel at TGS. It's just weird.

I just think that translating all those notes would be too long, that is why, still disappointed but i kinda understand, reading and waiting for translation for 2-3 hours could be painful

as if patch notes reading is so much fun to listen to... so far you could always read it by yourself and the small additional info they provided were usually just explaining certain changes

Japanese only at a North American gaming convention is going to bring bad press and rants from countless mainstream and independent gaming news websites. Just sit back and watch the smack talk fly. A hard lesson to learn for next year's E3.

If they are handing out pamphlets printed in English detailing everything Mr.YP and Foxclon are going over, that won't be bad.
