A few things to note (we had a thread about this in General Discussion a few days ago): Use the Chat Support option in Square Enix's support center. It'll get you help immediately, instead of you waiting for an email for days. Second, if your card has been replaced since making the pre-order you need to use the chat support to tell SE to manually change the payment method on your order - just putting a new card on your SE Store profile and making it the default won't be enough for orders that have already been placed.

I myself got my card skimmed while in the US a few months back and had to do exactly this yesterday because they tried to charge my old card, which is closed. It could be more difficult to change from one typ of payment to another though, as apparently one user couldn't switch from a debit card to using PayPal, even if he asked the chat support.
