I decided to try the game when I found out there would be male miqo'te, then I heard Answers.. Started looking for how to get in the beta.

Dark Knight: great sword + darkness. My FF job of choice ever. I can't wait!!

Gathering. My love for Eorzea deepened thanks to the BTN POV: walking into places, listening how the music merge with the views.. It's not just calming, it feels like my intimate relationship with Eorzea. It wasn't really remunerative but I bet it will change in the expansion as we'll get our endgame!

Friends: I love as FFXIV keeps me connected with my friends and even add new ones to the list I wouldn't even knew.

2.55/FCoB and some other parts were pretty good, I know it can't always be emotionally charged but keep up with keeping it interesting.

I'm sure there's a lot more but yeah you got the core: thanks devs!

Honestly I had totally dismissed the game until I saw a video of the Magitek mounts, and I knew I had to try it.

Now I'm a massive FFVI fan, and I've seen botched Squeenix games countless times (The Bouncer, every new mobile FF game except for Record Keeper, etc.) but what I remember most was the cutscene from Final Fantasy Anthology and when I saw the massive attention to detail in the pre-beta videos of the Magitek machines, I immediately knew that this development team believes in attention to detail. No corners were cut, the music was beautiful, the motions were beautiful, and a teenager who lost faith in his Squaresoft over the years suddenly came back. I have never felt otherwise in nearly two years since then.

I want to say thank you for the upcoming DX11 client in particular. The differences are minor, but for us screenshot addicts, those minor differences are the world.
