Can't help but think there is more to this. Not saying the OP is holding anything back but I would call SE and get this sorted out. I find it incredibly hard to believe that you were in trouble for just AFKing.
Maybe you received a warning from something you did when you were playing? Like, someone reported you, it got looked into then a couple days later you got the warning?
Do you ever stand at OP in PvP and do nothing(save for jump once in awhile so you don't get auto-kicked)? AKA leech, which can get you vote kicked by your team for being "AFK".

You can't get banned for being afk. I'm regularly afk for periods of over an hour, and so are many people. Something isn't right. There needs to be an official response to this.
Yep, and another response from the OP would be nice, he hasn't responded to a lot of questions that may resolve the matter.
Well you can if you are botting while afk. I see tons of that. Not sure if that's what was going on but if he had a bot program running his char, he still would technically been afk, had the afk symbol and could have gotten a ban. idk but that's the only reason for afk banning I can see. Maybe that's what the support person meant?
No, there really doesn't need to be. If you read the fine print when you signed up, they can actually ban you for any reason they want. We all agreed to that.
Moreover, I'm sure the OP knows exactly why he got banned and just isn't sharing that with us. Whole thing reeks of false outrage. Him threatening legal action was good for a laugh though.
