Can not progress main story...

I am on the current quest 'Lord of the Inferno' and have been for days now. I have been using the Duty Finder to attempt the Trial. It says average wait time is 5m, 7m 25m, 30m and so on... I have sat here waiting for 2 hours, 4 hours and even 8 hours with not a SINGLE success in joining a group. I have a good 16+ hours of waiting total. I am unable to progress and fully enjoy this game... I don't know if I am bugged or what. If there are waiting times of 5 minutes how am I going hours and hours without a single group???

Do you have friends or a free company or linkshell that you could ask them to queue with you to get this done? Honestly, you could probably shout in town nicely and ask for people to help you get it done. If you were on Sargatanas I'd invite you to my FC and we'd get that done

Use Party Finder instead. I've heard and seen a lot of people on multiple servers that are more than willing to help out. Lot of people just laying low while they wait for the expansion to hit. /shout in mor dohna. I'm sure you'll get some hits.

All you need is a tank or healer to speed up your queue. Put yourself in pf, as suggested, and see if you can get someone to help you.

Someone had previously reported an issue like this. Where they couldn't queue into any instance on one of their characters in any class. But they could queue on their alts. I'm on my phone right now, so i can't find the thread for you, but try searching for that one and see if they had a solution.

Can you queue into any other instances. If you can, try the PF option just to get past this one. It might be less of a headache than trying to sort it out via tickets. You really only ever run it once, unless it pops up in low level roulette.
