Here's the thing: we don't know that yet. So far most new content requires you to go back and play older content to get materials that you need. Or has some kind of bonus (tomes, ponies, etc.) for going back. Until we know exactly what "end game" or even "mid game" of HW requires, no one can say current players won't be returning to old content or that players will for sure. So that argument is 100% invalid until we have solid evidence one way or another.

As for the rest of the thread: I agree that having people get to i90 is a bit of a harsh requirement, but honestly, once you're 50 it really doesn't take that long to gear up. And for the people who give up the game because they have to play MSQ, those people wouldn't like most MMOs anyway. Can you get to the endgame area of a single player console game right from the start? No, you have to complete the MSQ to get there. And most themepark MMOs are the exact same: you have to do something to access an expansion's areas or perks. In my opinion if a person wasn't going to like the content that's in the base game, they're not going to like HW either. Doesn't matter what you do to the new jobs, for the most part, the inherent roles and know-how to respond to mechanics are inherently the same at its core. Sounds to me that the people who don't want to play this game as it is now before HW are looking at the wrong game to play (and possibly the wrong genre in general).

Now obviously SE should learn from this and come up with a more crowd-friendly way to enter whatever expansion comes after this. But as it stands now: it is what it is and we have to deal with it. Just offer your criticisms for next expac and hopefully they'll cater to more people.
