Just bought HW, preorder code is coming up as invalid

No, I'm not trying to apply the code to a Steam account

Yes, I am trying to enter the correct type of code (20-digit code which I'm entering via Mogstation)

Yes, I bought the right region version (EU account, bought HW from the EU Square store)

No, I am not mistyping it (copy-pasted it from both the email and my account page on the store, which both give the same key)

Any bright ideas?

Isnt Mogstation under maint today might be why wont take ur code other then that i would hit up the support from the store you might have a bad code maybe.I recall the 1st round of pre order codes to get the 20 digit code were bad had to send ppl a 2nd code.Who knows they coulda sent out sum bad 20 digit codes worth checking to be sure

Yes, I am having this same issue! I pre-ordered my Heavensward Digital Collectors Ed from SE and I recieved the registration code. I used that to get my "Mog Code" and have tried entering it on the Mog Station. It keeps saying "Invalid". I put in a service request. I know this doesn't help you, but you are not the only one having this issue!

Not sure what you did wrong here. Mine went pretty smooth and here's what i did anyway

1. Activate the Preorder key from Square Enix store.
2. Entered the codes at https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com
3. After which it will show me the set of "Bonus Code" to be entered inside Mogstation
4. Login to Mogstation and entered "bonus code"
5. Voila, done. Just gotta wait till 19th June till the download is available.

I finally was able to get a response from customer service. I originally ordered my game on steam and I ordered the expansion on the square enix store. The rep said I need to order the expansion on Steam. I cancelled my pre-order with SE. I haven't ordered on steam yet, but if I have another problem I will post again.
