I think the main issue here are the Q times it seems.remove GC restriction is the key for this I think. I just wanna be able to Q up and get on with it a bit like a dungeon.
Remove GC restriction is the only real change I want.



SE knows well how to improve PVP. Dump GC restrictions.
I cannot source this so don't take it as a fact but I have read that the new PVP map in Heavensward is GC restricted too. If it is true, then there is no hope for PVP.
And don't start with the "this is pve game" on me. I know it, but for me Frontlines is lots of fun (got only a bit over 300 games though) and for many people too. We just need shorter queue times > no GC restrictions.
If they dumped GC restrictions and made 3 mercenary companies that hired us after the queue popped, lorewise it would work.




Removing the GC restriction for frontlines would destroy current implementations. Basically the GC-specific achievements and rewards for them.
A better way to undertake it would be something I saw on the PvP fourm mentioned once. A mercenary style queue where you will work temporarily for another GC, gaining rewards for that GC.
Basically if the Frontlines queue has 20 Flames, 24 Adders, and 600 Maelstrom in queue (because it can feel like this some days...), 24 Maelstrom queue in like normal, while 4 of them end up temporarily on the Flames.
Ideally, this would also see an added reward for participation as to not discourage people from continue trying. Probably a bonus to pvp exp gain, as your character is gaining battle experience from another perspective.
It's not a perfect plan. But it'd be a way to alleviate queues without abolishing lore and current achievements. Plus grinding achievements for another GC without making the transfer for real. I'm sure someone cares about collecting them all.
Add more maps and diffrent pvp modes like castle seige. Make the players mercenaries so they can temporarily be in another GC for frontlines and gain achievements in their naitive GC.
We need Castle sieges, 1 group becomes defenders and 1 becomes attackers whose goal is to destroy a Aetheryte inside the castle.
Cause imo our current pvp is extremely dull since groups tend to do the same things over and over every single match.
Dat and that mass BLM beeing way to op in slaughter.



A 4th GC! I'm tired of getting ganged up on.
