Pre-order code missing

I pre-ordered Heavensward digitally through the Square Enix site but my pre-order code is not present in my email receipt nor on the account purchase history details. I've yet to unlock the activation key on the downloads site because nowhere does it say I need to do that to get my pre-order code and I want to keep the possibility of a refund open. Has anyone had any trouble getting their code when ordering through Square's site?

You use that Activation Key in order to get access to the code you are looking for.

UNFORTUNATELY upon signing in to that preorder page and entering the code, you will be told that the code you went there to get is still Pending. Pending, despite the page saying the codes will be available on or around MAY 15 2015!

I think the only people missing their codes are NA players who purchased the ps4 version of the game. My pc friends got their codes. My EU friends did too.

Limited to PS4 players or not, it is getting irritating.
