Job Specific Mounts for Everyone!

Any hope the rest of the classes are going to get a job specific mount. White Mage, Warrior, and Paladin all get them which I understand is incentive to play those roles. However, I don't think a mount is enough to convince someone to play a class they are not interested in, especially when there are dozens of mounts to get anyways. So why not just give us all one please.

Tank here! I for one am all for everyone getting their own mounts. Why let Paladins be the only ones to get some weird looking monster to carry us around. The lion still has the chimera talons ffs >.>

Warriors get a glossy bear. Let's not forget about us Warriors.
But I do like the idea of every class having a mount, and I like the idea of people playing roles outside their comfort zone. The best way to become a better tank is to know what a healer and a DPS needs to do in the fight. The best way to become a better DPS is to know what a tank has to go through, etc.
I mean, hey it might not improve your damage but it'd certainly improve your synergy with pickups.

So if every job has it's own mount, I think more people (at least the mount collectors) would strive to go out and learn how all the other classes operate. In the end, the player would better understand what can be expected of those classes when he's back on his main.

I was honestly about to say that it'd be so awesome if WHMs had their own mount... then I suddenly remembered my pretty unicorn that I haven't ridden in a long time.

To be fair though, the tank mounts are more unique than ours. :P The ex primals drop pretty re-skins of the unicorn.

been asking for this for months nows.. every class should have thier own specific mounts... people say its to get more people playing tanks n healers in dungeons but the unicorn mount at level 30 just says otherwise lol

Why would the unicorn be an exception to that? I'm not against the idea of all classes having a unique mount of course, I'm just genuinely curious. I mean you do need a lvl 30 WHM to get the quest.

cause u can fate grind to 30 pretty easy n not even enter a dungeon XD if it was to encourage more people to join high/low level dungeons as a healer it would of been similar achivement requirements to tanks mounts :P

The reasoning behind that, I think Yoshi-P explained during the closed beta, was that at the beginning of the game up to level 30 the Conjurer would be the one and only Healer class available. There wouldn't be any scholar before level 30 (and astrologian wasn't even a thing, of course), thus potentially creating a role unbalance in the early levels. The special mount was put there so more people would be encouraged to level conjurer at least up to level 30, so they could get their special mount for collection and go back to their main job.

Nowadays the problem is basically solved, especially thanks to the low-level roulette, but in the first months of the game it could have been potentially game-breaking.

I love mounts and wish that all the roles had their own. I can understand tank and healer getting mounts, but I'd like to see DPS get their own as well. I'm a collector and they don't take up inventory space.

Also would love to see more barding for my chocobo. Love to play dress up with my chocobo. Some very unique combinations have come from what I've gotten so far.
