Job Specific Mounts for Everyone!

Any hope the rest of the classes are going to get a job specific mount. White Mage, Warrior, and Paladin all get them which I understand is incentive to play those roles. However, I don't think a mount is enough to convince someone to play a class they are not interested in, especially when there are dozens of mounts to get anyways. So why not just give us all one please.

I was honestly about to say that it'd be so awesome if WHMs had their own mount... then I suddenly remembered my pretty unicorn that I haven't ridden in a long time.

To be fair though, the tank mounts are more unique than ours. :P The ex primals drop pretty re-skins of the unicorn.

been asking for this for months nows.. every class should have thier own specific mounts... people say its to get more people playing tanks n healers in dungeons but the unicorn mount at level 30 just says otherwise lol

Why would the unicorn be an exception to that? I'm not against the idea of all classes having a unique mount of course, I'm just genuinely curious. I mean you do need a lvl 30 WHM to get the quest.

U mean can we get a # of duties complete mount acievement for each job. Story mounts are only unique for a few days/ a week.

The unicorn mount is not a WHM mount. It can be done as a CNJ even before you unlock the WHM job quest. The point of the unicorn was to entice people to level up CNJ so they have a basic understanding of how healing works in this game and to help populate the lower level dungeons.

Actual healer mounts (there would be one for WHM and one for SCH) would require similar achievements to the tank mounts and require running endgame content to obtain.

cause u can fate grind to 30 pretty easy n not even enter a dungeon XD if it was to encourage more people to join high/low level dungeons as a healer it would of been similar achivement requirements to tanks mounts :P

While I would like having a personal mount would be awesome, I see it being more along the lines of: SMNs and BLM share one; Monk, DRG, and Ninja share; Bard and Machinist; SCH and AST (whatever the astrologian blah would be).

even if the DPS melee roles shared one it would be a nice incentive to have players play and learn every class

say melee DPS a tiger or something
ranged dps eagle
Magic offensive some sort of conjured beast
Magic healing a celestial beast (like a ursa maojr, with the stars on it)

something basic for each main role, that way we will have people willing to learn other roles to get those mounts
