Yep... seeing odd things like this happen more and more often with the ISP provided models, particularly the combo modem/router ones. Your ISP is likely charging you a rental fee on top of it as well. Might want to look into buying your own modem and a separate router. I know....sucks to think about shelling out north of $100 USD for them, but getting rid of that rental fee will often pay it back after your first year or so, and you will be in control of your local network settings as well.
