Ps4 version help

I'm not finding answers to this anywhere. I play on PC and I just bought the ps4 bundle with heavensward. I download ARR and it keeps telling me there's maintenance right away and I can't play the game, when there is no maintenance.

But that didn't help me at all. I reinstalled the game 3 times and had that box unchecked and still can't play. Also all of my account stuff on this game and sony is American.
I bought this like 3 days ago and I just want to play the game on the ps4. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

When I went in to verify my pre-order status from the account menu I did notice that instead of a Heavensward file it was marked Realm Reborn.

I had a seperate file for the main game...so, maybe you just downloaded the add on and not the main game?

When I go to download the game it is listed as final fantasy XIV a realm reborn and as I click download there is a checkbox for the add on: heavensward. I have been unchecking that box so I only download a realm reborn. Though I don't play on ps4 often so maybe I did something incorrectly or there is some setting I don't know about

If you brought the ARR+HW bundle for PS4 you cannot play any part of that bundle on the system until the full release of HW on the 23rd.

I should be able to play the regular ARR game since that is seperate and the add on for heavensward even has a count down to when that will be available. If i can't even play ARR it must be an issue and not intentional. Was that officially stated somewhere?
I am able to start the game, it just gives a maintenance error right after checking for version before I can log in

It's the same as anyone who purchases the physical bundle. Just because it's digital doesn't give it any special allowances.

If you look on the store page it even says
"Play on 06-23-2015, Midnight Eastern Time."

makes no mention of any exception for the ARR part of the bundle. For the purpose of this bundle ARR and HW aren't separate products.

I don't know about the physical bundle but that is odd because they do show as separate downloads and only the heavensward Download has a countdown to availability. I would think if it was locked off until the release of heavensward I wouldn't be able to launch the game at all

You would have to be able to launch the game to download the HW content.

The heavensward content is completely separate and locked on a timer and is downloaded through the psn not the game itself. I know that because when I bought the bundle, 3 separate downloads appeared. One for normal ffxiv ARR, one for the theme, and one for heavensward, and I can only download the first 2 now.

I'm sure i will be required to launch the game to install what is downloaded but as of now according to my downloads, I don't have the heavensward download at all. I only have ARR downloaded and that is on my list of games that I am able to launch now. It launches it loads, it checks for an update and then it gives me an error saying there is maintenance when there isn't. Those 2 things seem different to me.

I shouldn't be able to launch ARR at all if it was locked on a timer like the HW download is. If this is how it's intended to be, it's been poorly communicated because In the same way it doesn't say "they are seperate and I would be able to play ARR now" it also doesn't say they are linked and I wouldn't be able to play the game that is released right now until the expansion is released later.

That's highly unlikely given that everyone has to download HW regardless as to whether they have purchased it so has to be downloaded through the game like a patch would. The timer is just telling you when it becomes playable. It will also be a bigger download then the 12gb or what ever it is that the PSN says it is for the entire bundle.

Probably because they felt that that by putting exactly when the bundle would be playable people wouldn't assume that only counted for half the bundle.
