Yeah Character creator doesn't do justice skin tone wise for the actual world @.@ Here is a more darker skin tone I THINK would look better if I stay Raen.

The darker skin tone definitely looks good, and I think it helps with Raen quite a bit. So I'd say go with that. Though I do find it strange they only made male Xaela have the dark sclera x--x I mean I'm very glad the females don't, but I feel if they were going to do it on one they should have done it on both. Or not have it done on both.

While I loved my characters old look, I have to say I love her new look even more. Believe I'll be sticking with it.

I like both, but I prefer your 'true form'. The edgy/dark look seems to work for him and it's especially fitting for a BLM imo.

I'm leaning towards reverting to Duskwight at some point buuuut it's a tough decision.

I do enjoy the gothic look and relative simplicity of Duskwight

Both of your designs are awesome looking However I admit I'm a taaaad biased toward Elezen males. You can't lose no matter which you pick so follow your heart

As for the Au Ra thing: I'm actually curious to see how many people stay as one. I haven't really encountered that many on my server, and most of them are just alts testing things out. On top of that, male Au Ra seem to be a rarity. Most of the ones I run into are female Raen. Though I did teleport to Gridania once and jumped into a group of three Xaela sprouts. That was fun. XD

There is a lot of Au Ra on my server but many will probably changing back. I love dragons and horns so I am definitely staying an Au Ra!

If the forums are showing me the correct character for you, I can see why! She's lovely I'll be joining you in staying in camp Au Ra. This is the first time since I've started playing that my character has just felt right. Might have made her a little too short though XD Put her at like...60 or 61 inches. I'm 62 inches in real life so seeing all these giants makes me...somewhat glad I'm not really in Eorzea. I'd be trampled...

Thank you! I was actually a Lalafell for the longest time but like you I finally feel like this is my toon instead of just a random toon I am playing. Took me 4 Fantasia potions to make her right though XD.. Went Raen first for the stats but the scales colors didn't feel right for me so I said screw it and went Xaela.

I know having a lot of one race can really put a damper on their shine, but go with what makes you happy! Both of your characters look great.

I still see a lot of non-Au Ra running around, but yeah, there are more females than males. Kind of a pity, the males are quite nice (I may be biased, given I play males for the most part in any game). Between the two tribes, most of the females I see are Raen and most of the males I ran into are Xaela. Hmmm.
