Possible fix for PVP WITHOUT changing lore or removing GC restrictions

So this is my suggestion. It's tough to remove GC restriction because it involves changing lore, so here is what I think would be better.

GC promotions to be based on PVP wins from First ____ Lieutenant onwards.

Right now we can get to Second ____ (Flame, Storm, Serpent) Lieutenant. So I suggest promotions from there would require wins from PVP.

Secondly, to fix queues based on other duty roulettes. Someone who queues earlier should get into queue faster. If data center active logged on accounts is below a certain threshold 72-man immediately disabled until data center active population reaches an appropriate level.

    Opinions?

I dont see how that would solve anything, you are still separating the players into 3 non-uniform teams instead of having a singular pool

Hmm... I think it might make the queues fill up with more people, but it would be people who don't like PVP. Polarization due to unequal skill @ dedication towards winning would still exist, so the issue of having a fair chance to win without changing GC would still exist for many.

But the join in progress thing should change for sure, first in last out like it is now is unfair and leads people to keep queueing and withdrawing with no way of knowing if they were close to a queue pop or not.

Just give us a Mercenary style system.

You're still prioritized to be put in your Grand Company, those are still there.
If the number of people queuing reaches 24/72, but the Grand Company restriction is getting in the way (eg. 9 Adders, 8 Flames, 7 Maelstrom), excess from one Grand Company will be placed in the Grand Company which requires more people.
These players who end up fighting for a different Grand Company receive different rewards. If you're fighting as a Mercenary, and you come last, you only get 50% of the last place rewards. On the other hand, if you come first? You get 150% of the first place rewards. This would be to try and prevent a situation where you fail on purpose to aid your Grand Company, instead it adds incentive to help the team you're filling come 2nd/1st. Those numbers are just examples of course, the concept is what's important here.

There. Done. Queues fixed. Doesn't even have to be Mercenaries, don't real nations tend to have exchanges where they'll work with each other? I was under the impression this was generally done because it was a great way to learn new things during peace time. Makes absolute perfect sense for the three Grand Companies to do something similar in Frontlines.

50% bonuses and penalties is completely absurd and no one in thier right mind would use it

a 10% bonus to xp and marks if you queue with your GC is sufficient, anything beyond that is pretty dumb

It wouldnt "fix" queues, but it would be alot better than the system we have now, to fix queues you just need to have a unified playerpool

Different rewards wouldnt work out very well anyway. Just think about that are plenty of ppl already on rank 45 so exp doesnt matter to them and on top of that most dont even need wolfmarks at a higher rank.

I think you are mistaken. Frontlines and Wolves Den have vastly different gear sets, and when you start gearing for multiple jobs this gets really complicated and somewhat expensive. There is also the ever-costly venture of Desynthing PVP gear to level your crafters. You should also note that it's a very good idea to stockpile the max marks going into the expansion for a headstart on whatever new PVP gear is coming. Like in the current patch, you are probably allowed to buy the gear in advance before you can actually use it.

Wolfmarks are still in demand. They have not gone the way of Soldiery Tomes (which are now completely 100% worthless), and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
