Heavensward region locked.

Hello, I use to live in New Zealand, and recently moved back to the states. I own FF14 for my ps4, but play it still under my NZ PSN. How would I go about preordering Heavensward when it's apparently region locked?

Do I have to wait till it's available digitally on the psn? Or is there another way?

I was on the same boat as you, though on the pc.

I bought the game while I was living in NZ too, then I moved back to Japan. To purchase Heavensward I had to pre-order through the EU site with the help of my friend BACK in NZ. Unfortunately despite my efforts I wasn't able to order a copy here in Japan that would work with my EU account.

In your case since your PSN account region is NZ, just purchase from the NZ PSN Store or buy the physical copy from NZ. The region lock only means that you may only play FFXIV and future expansions bought from that region.

For example - If the FFXIV Account is EU, then you MUST purchase a EU version from any part of the EU Region (includes NZ/AU/Europe). If you buy a NA version and attempt to play on a EU account, the registration code will not be accepted.
Also if your account is EU, but you moved to NA; you are also then restricted from buying the EU copy from the official SE goods website (your region must be the same as the account region).
