Payment through paypal impossible

Hello,
I've been using paypal for a good amount of time now due to not having a credit card. As of today i tried charging some crysta in order to lengthen my subscription, but it sent me to a page to verify my credit card... The sole reason i use paypal is cause i do not have a credit card, yet now i can't even use that! Does anyone else have this problem? I had no issues with this beforehand. Is it on SE's side? Is is paypal's issue? My last payment was about 2 weeks ago which went fine, but now it asks me for a credit card. I feel pretty bummed, especially with heavensward around the corner.

Edit: seems like it's on SE's side. Tried buying stuff on other websites and it would redirect me to the window to pay as it always did for the SE store as well. I hope this issue is being fixed soon. Theres no real other options for me when it comes to buying crysta.

This was basically the same thing. So it has been fixed before, but it's back again.
